Your Eyes Here:
We’re a little less than 4 weeks away from the start of Spring, but it’s already been an incredibly busy time here at Hard Soul HQ. You probably remember, but our new record drops on April 8th, and we’re full speed ahead these days as we cruise toward the big Tuesday. Not only that, we’ll be releasing more details on our debut album Heart of Plaster very shortly. Not to mention the music video for “Just Be Love” is making it’s debut in just a few weeks time! We’ve been teasing you with the video for a few weeks now, ever since we shot the thing last month. However, we won’t leave you completely hanging this time. So whet your appetite with some behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot via the clip below. Don’t forget to like and share!
The album release plans are in full swing. On Friday, April 11th we’ll be landing at The Low Beat in Albany (run by the kind folks who formerly ran Valentine’s Music Hall) for a most excellent show to celebrate the birth of Heart of Plaster. Joining us for the evening’s festivities will be The Strange Neighbors and Carl Daniels and The Black Box. Join us, won’t ya?
Our show at Kreusi Pub in Schenectady last weekend was a roaring success. We can’t thank Summer of Doug and the Joe Nacco Band enough for being part of such a fantastic bill of original music. We even dropped a couple new tunes on the very jubilant crowd that gathered there that particular evening. Johnny even jumped up onstage to close the evening with SoD and Joe Nacco for a raucous version of “All Along the Watchtower”.
As always, we’re at Putnam Den in Saratoga Springs every Wednesday night for our weekly open mic hosting duties. Magic Hat swag will be in full effect, plus some acoustic wizardry.
