Troy, NY (December 16, 2017) – The latest single from upstate New York-based emotive rockers Hard Soul will make its world radio premiere on Sunday, December 17, during EQXposure, hosted by Kim Neaton on 102.7-FM WEQX. The program airs at 7:00pm every Sunday. The song, “See Me,” is the first track off the band’s latest EP ‘This Will Hurt’ released on December 8.

“We’re incredibly appreciative of the love & support that Kim Neaton and the rad staff at WEQX have shown to Hard Soul and the local music scene,” said Johnny Salka, Hard Soul lead singer and songwriter. “We’re looking forward to tuning in this Sunday; turn it up loud!”

The band has released an official audio video for “See Me” — the first single — and a lyric video for “I Am The Hurricane” on their official YouTube page; the videos are available at www.youtube.com/watchhardsoul

In addition to Salka on vocals and guitar, the new EP features Nick Kossor (guitar), Steve Thompson (guitar, backing vocals), Mark Podbielski (drums), and Sean Murphy (bass guitar). The record also features Mike Perri (The Racer) who performed drums on two tracks — “I Am The Hurricane” and “This Will Hurt.”

‘This Will Hurt’ was produced by Steven “SolidGold” Goldman at Four Legs Records in Washingtonville, New York. Goldman has helmed all previous Hard Soul releases, including 2012’s ‘Love Eats the Young,’ 2013’s ‘Seize the Year,’ 2014’s ‘Heart of Plaster,’ and 2015’s ‘Fairer Shores.’

The five-track EP is now available via iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, Amazon, and all other major digital retailers.
